La Oficina Nacional de Procesos Electorales (ONPE) informó que el próximo 11 de diciembre se realizará el sorteo para elegir a los miembros de mesa para las próximas Elecciones Congresales Extraordinarias 2020que se llevarán a cabo el 26 de enero.
Fuentes de la ONPE explicaron que ese mismo día se habilitará una plataforma para que la ciudadanía consulte si deberá cumplir con esta labor.
Para realizar la consulta correspondiente deberás ingresar al link y colocar tu número de DNI en el campo correspondiente. Asimismo, se te pedirá digitar un código de seguridad para poder ver si tu nombre se encuentra en la lista de sorteados.
–Otros medios para conocer si eres miembro de mesa–
Si bien la plataforma web de la ONPE es la más conocida y utilizada por los ciudadanos para consultar si es miembro de mesa, existen otros medios para obtener esta información.
La ONPE publicará en el Diario Oficial El Peruano o en el medio de mayor circulación, por una sola vez, separatas especiales con la lista de los miembros de mesa. En caso en algunas ciudades de las regiones del país no se editen periódicos, la publicación se hará por carteles que estarán fijados en edificios públicos (hospitales, colegios, entre otros) y en los lugares más frecuentados.
–¿Quiénes no pueden ser miembros de mesa?–
La Ley Orgánica de Elecciones – Ley N° 26856 – Artículo 57 detalla que no pueden ser miembros de mesa aquellas personas que sean:
– Candidatos y personeros de los partidos políticos, agrupaciones independientes y alianzas.
– Los funcionarios y empleados de los organismos que conforman el sistema electoral peruano.
– Las autoridades políticas y los miembros de los concejos municipales.
– Los ciudadanos que integren los comités directivos de los partidos políticos, agrupaciones independientes y alianzas inscritos en el Jurado Nacional de Elecciones.
– Los cónyuges y parientes dentro del segundo grado de consanguinidad o afinidad entre los miembros de una misma mesa.
– Los electores temporalmente ausentes de la República, de acuerdo con las relaciones correspondientes que remita el Registro Nacional de Identificación y Estado Civil (Reniec).
De incumplir alguno de los puntos detallados anteriormente, el ciudadano podrá presentar una tacha, el cual es un recurso que interponen las personas contra la designación de determinados electores que han sido sorteados como miembros de mesa por impedimentos establecidos en la Ley N° 26856 – Artículo 57.
Para presentar una tacha necesitas: enviar una solicitud dirigida al presidente del Jurado Electoral Especial con tu copia del DNI y un documento probatorio.
–Multas–
Los miembros de mesa, titulares y suplentes, que no cumplan con su deber cívico electoral recibirán una multa única de S/210.
El mismo monto se aplicará a los electores que se nieguen a integrar las mesas de sufragio en reemplazo de los miembros de mesa ausentes.
Si un miembro de mesa, titular o suplente, no acude a cumplir su deber cívico y tampoco sufraga en las Elecciones 2020 se le impondrá la multa de S/210 y la que le corresponde en función a la clasificación del lugar donde reside.
