La violenta colisión de un bus repleto de pasajeros contras la faldas de un cerro en una curva cerrada, dejó como saldo tres personas fallecidas y 12 heridos en la carretera de penetración km 28 de la vía Pativilca – Huaraz.
El lamentable hecho se reportó a horas 3.00 am en circunstancias que el bus de la empresa ETIGSA T2Z-961 conducido por Mariano Nolasco Rashta se desplazaba a Huaraz, y al llegar al sector de Los Sauces Grandes al parecer chofer habría pestañado lo que origino que el bus se estrelle contra las rocas enormes que están a faldas de los cerros.
El fuerte impacto contra enormes piedras destrozó la parte delantera del bus donde iban los viajeros que salieron hacia la vía y algunos quedaron atrapados entre los fierros retorcidos.
Varias unidades de la policía de Paramonga al mando del Myr Renzo Ángeles y bomberos rescataron a los pasajeros que quedaron atrapados en la unidad.
Tres pasajeros que iban en los asientos delanteros perdieron la vida de forma instantánea tras el impacto y fuerte caída hacia la pista
Estas fueron identificadas como Alan Lázaro Valentino ,Alicia Karina Estación Castromonte y Jhonny Edgar Orihuela Aparco y al menos 12 personas heridas con lesiones en diversas partes del cuerpo que fueron evacuadas hacia el hospital de Barranca y Chasquitambo.
EL chofer de la unidad con algunas contusiones fue derivado a la comisaría para las pesquisas. Se supo que el chofer se habría quedado dormido frente al volante y perdió el control de la unidad.
Por orden del fiscal de turno se ordenó el levantamiento de los cadáveres y su traslado a la morgue de Barranca.
