La Sunedu denegó el licenciamiento a Telesup debido a que esta no cumplió con ninguna de las ocho condiciones básicas de calidad (CBC) establecidas en la** Ley Universitaria**. Las imágenes que fueron registradas durante una diligencia de actuación probatoria para recopilar información realizada en marzo de 2019 fueron contundentes para determinar que esta universidad no contaba con la infraestructura y equipamiento adecuados para cumplir sus funciones.
Por ejemplo, en las inspecciones realizadas el 19 y 20 de marzo en la sede ubicada en La Victoria se observan precariedades en sus instalaciones como son paredes rajadas y una puerta de ingreso que solo está tarrajeada, sin señaléticas o avisos que determinen que sea una casa de estudios.
También otras fotos revelan una situación que se repite en las sede principal de Telesup (Av. ;28 de julio, Cercado de Lima) y en La Victoria: el aforo. Las imágenes muestran espacios reducidos para la cantidad de estudiantes permitidos. Incluso se ve que las carpetas están muy pegadas entre sí, poniendo en riesgo a los alumnos en caso de una eventual emergencia.
Además, se suma el caso de un aula de la sede de La Victoria donde se aprecia una columna que obstruye la visión del estudiante hacia la zona donde el docente realiza su clase. También se reportó que los locales no cuentan con las zonas de seguridad debidamente establecidas ante un eventual sismo.
Además, la diligencia ejecutada el pasado 14 de marzo en la sede ubicada en San Juan de Lurigancho sorprende por una estructura de tipo cascarón. Es decir, desde afuera parece que el edificio tiene 7 pisos, pero en realidad tres ellos son solo fachada, sin construcción al interior (sin columna, ni paredes).
La Universidad Privada Telesup, de propiedad del ex congresista José Luna Gálvez, inició su proceso de licenciamiento en octubre del 2017.
A través de una resolución, la Sunedu determinó que esta casa de estudios deberá cesar en un plazo máximo de dos años. De esta manera, Telesup quedó automáticamente impedida de realizar procesos de admisión o matricular nuevos estudiantes.
Con esta ya son ocho universidades del país a las cuales la Sunedu les ha denegado el licenciamiento desde octubre del año pasado.
