El Jurado Nacional de Elecciones responsabilizó a los partidos políticos por designar como candidatos, sin ningún tipo de filtro, a cuestionados personajes que hoy –en su condición de electos congresistas– empañan al Poder Legislativo con una serie de denuncias en su haber.
“Si bien el Jurado cumple también una labor fiscalizadora, la filtración de personas que han mentido en sus hojas de vida obedece a una responsabilidad de los partidos políticos, por no elegir bien a sus postulantes o no aplicar un adecuado tamiz”, señaló un funcionario del JNE encargado de fiscalizar los procesos electorales.
A la fecha, el JNE ha denunciado penalmente a los parlamentarios Wilder Ruiz, Alejandro Yovera y Federico Pariona, porque incluyeron datos académicos falsos en sus respectivas hojas de vida.
