En la resolución emitida hoy, y a la que accedió Perú21, los jueces reconocen que la investigación del fiscal José Domingo Pérez tiene sustento y cuenta con elementos que corroboran la imputación por lavado de activos que se le atribuye a Fujimori.
Entre esas evidencias se menciona la declaración de los exdirectivos de Odebrecht Jorge Barata y Marcelo Odebrecht. El primero dijo que la compañía aportó US$1 millón ilícitos para financiar la campaña fujimorista de 2011, mientras que el segundo respaldó esa versión.
La sala también desestimó el cuestionamiento de la defensa de Fujimori que apunta a desconocer un incremento injustificado de su patrimonio que, de acuerdo a Pérez, se habría concretado con el dinero que la empresa brasileña entregó.
“Tal incremento patrimonial estaría representado por las sumas de US$ 1’000.000.00 y US$200,000.00, que habría recibido de la empresa Odebrecht y Jorge Henrique Simoes Barata, respectivamente en el contexto de la campaña política relacionada a las elecciones generales de los años 2010 y 2011, así como la suma aproximada de S/.1’700,000.00 durante el desarrollo de la campaña electoral del año 2016”, se lee en el documento.
