En su lucha contra la corrupción y firme en sus acciones por transparentar la gestión, el gobernador regional Ricardo Chavarría Oria coordinó con el Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones (MTC) la implementación de protocolos de seguridad para la emisión de licencias de conducir.
En ese sentido, el MTC restringirá algunos programas en las computadoras registradas para la prueba de conocimientos; una segunda medida, será monitorear constantemente -por medios informáticos- el uso de las máquinas y de detectar manejos anómalos quedarían cancelados los exámenes de los postulantes.
Ricardo Chavarría señaló que con decisión y firmeza se prestará un mejor servicio a la población. “En el primer caso irregular que se identifique no dudaremos en tomar las medidas correctivas. Tengan la seguridad que estamos abocados a brindar una atención rápida, eficiente y limpia”, enfatizó.
Igualmente, anunció que va por buen camino la propuesta para contar con una oficina descentralizada en Cañete, facilitando a los ciudadanos del sur chico la obtención de los brevetes. Se priorizará la asignación de los ambientes y la selección del grupo humano, quienes serán capacitados para el proceso.
Por su parte, el director general de Autorizaciones en Transportes del MTC Yovani Lanchipa saludó el llamado del GRL para inspeccionar las instalaciones de la Dirección Regional de Transportes, así como resaltó el liderazgo del titular de la región Lima por ir acorde con la política del Gobierno Central en poner mano dura a la corrupción en las instituciones del Estado.
