Para ello, se deberá demoler el actual local que ha sido declarado inhabitable por Defensa Civil, para poner en marcha un innovador diseño arquitectónico, que mejorará las condiciones de servicio que brindan los hombres de rojo.
La parte más dañada de su actual edificación es el segundo nivel, donde están los ambientes de descanso, que corre el riesgo de colapsar y poner en peligro la integridad física de los voluntarios.
Igualmente, el proyecto contempla la implementación con una moderna unidad vehicular, equipo de extracción, cascos estructurales, motobomba, equipos de rescate básico y con cuerdas, herramientas (aparatos de respiración, cámara térmica, juegos de trajes de bomberos, uniformes, kit de extracción vehicular, entre otros) y capacitaciones que les permitirá actuar oportuna y eficazmente en las acciones de rescate y emergencias.
Es así como la gestión liderada por nuestro gobernador Nelson Chui Mejía contribuye con esta noble institución que incondicionalmente cumple con una sacrificada labor en casos de siniestro en la Capital de la Agricultura Peruana.
