El presidente Nicolás Maduro cuestionó durante una conferencia de prensa en Venezuela los motivos por los que miles de sus compatriotas están regresando de países como Perú, Colombia y Chile en medio de la pandemia del coronavirus.
“¿Por qué no se quedan allá los venezolanos? Si estaban tan bien y estaban chévere en Colombia, Perú y Chile, ¿por qué no se quedaron? ¿Por qué se vienen a pie desesperados con su familia?”, manifestó el líder del chavismo.
Según indica el medio ‘El Nacional’, Maduro dijo que sus compatriotas retornan a Venezuela por la falta de trabajo, malos tratos y xenofobia que reciben en estos países que los reciben de la región y del mundo.
“A los venezolanos los dejan morir en Colombia. Los botaron de sus casas, de los trabajos, no les quieren prestar transporte para regresarse”, agregó.
Maduro también sostuvo que aquellas personas que regresan podrán acceder a una serie de servicios totalmente gratuitos. Incluso, arremetió contra el presidente de Colombia, Iván Duque.
“Iván Duque está desesperado. Se le ven los ojitos desorbitados porque no ha logrado infectar a Venezuela, y encabeza una campaña contra el país”, declaró.
El líder del chavismo también dijo en cadena nacional que toda aquella persona que quiera regresar a Venezuela será bienvenida.
“¿Venirse a pie de Perú? Eso solo lo hicieron los libertadores. Se vienen caminando desde Colombia, de Ecuador, de Chile. Todos los venezolanos son bienvenidos y les estamos dando el trato humanista, ha sido así y seguirá siendo así”, aseveró.
