El pre candidato para la alcaldía de la provincia de Huaral, por el partido Fuerza Popular Juan Álvarez Andrade menciono que una de las propuestas para la provincia es incentivar la parte cultural que es lo que le falta a la población, así también como la construcción de un nuevo Palacio Municipal, entre otros.
