Los jóvenes que culminen su servicio militar tendrán la posibilidad de postular como suboficiales de la Policía Nacional del Perú (PNP), mediante un examen de admisión extraordinario, según el Proyecto de ley Nº 4359 que presentó el congresista Osías Ramírez.
La evaluación se realizará a través de un concurso público de méritos para los licenciados que hayan concluido el servicio militar en las Fuerzas Armadas. La evaluación tendría como requisito fundamental que los jóvenes hayan cumplido 24 meses en un cuartel, lo que equivaldría a cuatro semestres en la Escuela Técnico Superior de Suboficiales.
Los licenciados que se gradúen como suboficiales de la Policía Nacional serán asignados a la Dirección Nacional de Operaciones Especiales (Diroes), para prestar principalmente sus servicios en la zona del Valle de los ríos Apurímac, Ene y Mantaro (VRAEM) y en los diversos frentes policiales, explica el documento.
Según el fujimorista, de aprobarse esta iniciativa, habrían mil plazas para jóvenes que quieran formar parte de la familia policial. “Muchos licenciados que egresan de nuestros institutos armados terminan de vigilantes, pues de aprobarse la iniciativa estos señores podrían ser parte de la PNP, a través de una preparación mucho más corta. Con esto podremos tener más policías en las calles para atender los problemas derivados de la inseguridad ciudadana”, sostuvo Ramírez.
El proyecto indica que las denuncias por inseguridad ciudadana se incrementan cada año, como en el 2017 donde se registró un total de 399, 869 denuncias a escala nacional.
