Con la presencia del presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Salvador del Solar, y la ministra de Agricultura y Riego, Fabiola Muñoz, se instaló la  Mesa de Diálogo Multisectorial para el análisis e identificación de alternativas de solución a la problemática del sector agrario.

El titular de la PCM reafirmó que este gobierno apuesta por un diálogo permanente para mejorar la situación del agro de la mano con los productores agrarios a lo largo y ancho del Perú.

“Hemos escuchado los pedidos del agro nacional para que haya otra mirada desde el Estado peruano. Demostremos una vez más que cuando se quiere se puede, trabajemos juntos. Somos un gobierno que está trabajando para dejar mejores bases hacia el bicentenario”, agregó Del Solar al resaltar que las cinco mesas temáticas estarán presididas por un ministro o ministra.

Por su parte, en su exposición, la titular del Minagri saludó la presencia de los diferentes gremios agrarios y pidió trabajar de manera coordinada para “hacer la gran transformación por el agro nacional”.

Indicó que la primera prioridad del sector es la agricultura familiar, que representa el 90% de los agricultores y agricultoras del país.

Muñoz recalcó que una de las principales acciones que se ejecutará es llevar adelante la reestructuración del Ministerio de Agricultura, “para convertirlo en una institución que sirva a los pequeños productores”. También señaló la importancia del fortalecimiento de las capacidades de los gobiernos regionales para brindar el servicio que necesitan los agricultores, como sistemas de riego, asistencia técnica, entre otros. 

Al final de la ceremonia, las autoridades y líderes agrarios suscribieron el acta de instalación de la Mesa de Diálogo y la conformación de cinco mesas técnicas: financiamiento y seguro agrario, producción nacional y comercio, gestión de recursos hídricos, asociatividad e institucionalidad y de agricultura familiar

En esta cita participaron las ministras de Ambiente, Lucía Ruiz; de Midis, Paola Bustamante; de Producción, Rocío Barrios, y los titulares del Mincetur, Edgar Vásquez, y del MEF, Carlos Oliva. Además asistieron los presidentes de Conveagro, Clímaco Cárdenas, y de la Junta Nacional de Usuarios de Riego, Carlos Ravines, así como dirigentes de diversos gremios agrarios.

A partir de mañana hasta este viernes, se instalarán cada una de las mesas técnicas en los ministerios de Economía y Finanzas, Ambiente, Producción, Comercio Exterior y Turismo, Agricultura y Riego.

El Minagri informó que tras una década de gestiones, ayer partió, desde la provincia limeña de Huaral, el primer contenedor con mandarinas Satsuma a Japón, nación asiática con 126 millones de consumidores.
