El gobernador regional Nelson Chui Mejía verificó –in situ- el estado situacional del proyecto de Mejoramiento del Malecón Roca, en el distrito de Huacho, provincia de Huaura.
En su recorrido, la primera autoridad regional constató que los trabajos avanzan a buen ritmo, con posibilidades de culminarse la restauración del atractivo turístico, en el mes de octubre.
Chui Mejía indicó que los recursos destinados superan los 800 mil soles, comprendiendo la remodelación de las plazuelas, rehabilitación de las fuentes de agua, cambio de los adoquinados del piso y las barandas de policarbonato, al igual que la instalación de nuevas luminarias, adecuación de los totem y miradores, entre otros componentes.
La inversión constituye un importante aporte para el desarrollo turístico de la ciudad “Capital de la Hospitalidad”, al contar a lo largo de su kilómetro de extensión, de una impresionante vista panorámica de la playa Chorrillos y el Puerto de Huacho.
