Es la primera vez que el SIS transfiere el 90% del presupuesto a inicios del periodo anual a los hospitales y centros de salud de las provincias de Lima para garantizar la adquisición oportuna de medicamentos, materiales e insumos médicos.La nueva estrategia del SIS busca fortalecer las atenciones en los puestos y centros de salud de todas las regiones del país contribuyendo a la articulación de las redes integradas.
El Seguro Integral de Salud (SIS) aprobó la transferencia económica de 6 millones 945 mil 443 soles a los hospitales y centros de salud de Chancay y Huaral para financiar las atenciones médicas, garantizar el abastecimiento oportuno de medicamentos, insumos, materiales médicos a favor de los afiliados. Esta suma representa el 90% del presupuesto asignado a los establecimientos de salud de la región.
El monto transferido se oficializó mediante las Resoluciones Jefaturales N° 036 y 046-2019/SIS publicadas en el Diario Oficial El Peruano, en el marco del “Convenio entre el Seguro Integral de Salud – SIS, Fondo Intangible Solidario de Salud – FISSAL y el Gobierno Regional de Lima. Estas normas establecen que el SIS transfiere a dichas localidades S/ 6,910,114.00, y el FISSAL S/ 35,329.00, respectivamente.
