En los últimos años, el personal de la Municipalidad Provincial de Huaura se habría triplicado, reveló el secretario general del sindicato de trabajadores ediles, Emilio Palacios Martínez, quien manifestó que “hay temas importantes que dejaron de atenderse porque el gasto corriente se ha incrementado por la contratación de trabajadores, que ha sido superado respecto de años anteriores. Ahora hay un aumento del 200%”, sentenció el dirigente.
Dio a entender que si bien se requiere de personal para laborar en esa institución, “los trabajadores deberían estar preparados”. Como algunos ejemplos del exceso de personal en algunas áreas como Serenazgo, mencionó que “debería de haber un concurso para elegir a los postulantes más indicados. Luego, se tendría que capacitarlos antes que comiencen sus funciones, en las calles de la ciudad”, mencionó.
Finalmente, explicó que “en transporte hay una gran cantidad de trabajadores. Pese a ello, el resultado es pobre”. De otro lado opinó que lo importante no es a qué movimiento político pertenezcan los contratados. Sólo queremos –dijo– que sean capaces y cuenten con las condiciones para sacar adelante a la provincia de Huaura.
Sus palabras las relacionó con las versiones de que habría un grupo del personal vinculados a la actual gestión. Finalmente dijo que “la población se dará cuenta de los resultados que se obtenga (con las contrataciones)”.
