El gobernador regional, Ricardo Chavarría Oria, asumió el compromiso de priorizar el fortalecimiento de la agricultura en la región Lima, mediante inversiones en obras de infraestructura de riego y repotenciando las agencias agrarias.
Ricardo Chavarría sostuvo que las decisiones tomadas apuntan a fortalecer las políticas inclusivas, sostenibles y el desarrollo integral en favor de las familias que se dedican a las actividades del campo.
“Hemos encontrado 46 proyectos en el sector agricultura inconclusas y paralizadas. Eso tiene que cambiar y, para ello, vamos a revolucionar el sector agropecuario, poniendo en marcha la ejecución de canales, represas, reservorios, siembra y cosecha de agua y riego tecnificado. Haremos, lo que no se ha hecho, en 16 años de creación del GRL”, enfatizó.
El anuncio lo realizó durante su participación en el encuentro con comuneros en el distrito de San Mateo, donde informó de la próxima construcción de la primera Planta de Tratamiento de Aguas Residuales (PTAR) en Huarochirí.
Igualmente, la máxima autoridad regional indicó que articulará coordinaciones con el gobierno local para empezar con los estudios e implementar el anhelado proyecto de gestión integral de residuos sólidos, en aras de cuidar el medio ambiente y mejorar la calidad de vida de la población de la zona altoandina.
