El Gobierno Regional de Lima tomó la decisión de entregar las camionetas, motos lineales, indumentarias y bienes a la Municipalidad Distrital de Cerro Azul, en la provincia de Cañete.
La recepción de los implementos se desarrollará en acto público, el miércoles 31 de octubre e inmediatamente el gobierno local cumplirá con cederlo a la Policía Nacional, que creará una sede de la Central de Emergencia 105 en esta parte del Sur Chico para disminuir los incidentes delictivos.
De esta manera se reforzará el patrullaje en el circuito de playa del lugar; así como la vigilancia del distrito de San Vicente y en caso lo decida la institución policial se desplegarán intervenciones de emergencias en otros puntos álgidos. De otro lado, se desmontará la antena de comunicación que fue instalada en la Unidad Ejecutora Lima Sur, para ser ubicada en el lugar estratégico que disponga la PNP.

Por su parte, el secretario técnico regional de Seguridad Ciudadana Coronel PNP (r) Carlos Remy Ramis señaló que un acto similar se llevará a cabo el sábado 3 de noviembre, en horas de la mañana, en la ciudad de Huacho, con la entrega de camionetas, plataforma de comunicación y otros bienes a los distritos de Lachaqui y Arahuay de la provincia de Canta.
