Según la información publicada por el Diario “La República” en su edición de fecha 20 de febrero del 2010(Ver publicación), el entonces investigado Abel Vidal Valdez Guerra, fue acusado de asesinar a su pareja Victoria Lara Ñopo en un crimen que a la fecha no está del todo esclarecido.
En la actualidad Abel Vidal es el flamante Gerente Regional de Recursos Naturales y hombre de confianza del presidente del Gobierno Regional de Lima Javier Alvarado.
Según el informe periodístico realizado por Óscar Chumpitaz, indica que las contundentes pruebas que encontró la policía terminaron por acorralarlo. Al ingeniero Abel Vidal Valdez Guerra, actual pareja de la fiscal Victoria Lara Ñopo, no le quedó otra alternativa que confesar el crimen que ha conmocionado a la población de Cañete.
Tras casi 24 horas de su detención, admitió que era absurdo seguir mintiendo. “Si, fui yo”, dijo ante el asombro de los detectives.
Explicó que el lunes estuvo con ella en una habitación que alquilaba en el tercer piso de un inmueble en San Vicente de Cañete.
La llevó en un Tico verde
Durante las diligencias realizadas por la policía se habrían encontrado manchas de sangre en la habitación de Valdez Guerra.
“La golpeé en la casa y, aún inconsciente, la subí a un Tico de color verde y la llevé hasta la playa Hawai, donde la estrangulé”, dijo en su manifestación.
Por la noche, el principal sospechoso se retractó tratando de confundir a los investigadores de la Divincri Cañete.
Testigos incluso los vieron discutir la tarde del lunes en la plaza de armas de Imperial.
No establecen móvil
Sobre los móviles del crimen, la policía maneja dos hipótesis.
Se dice que el ingeniero habría actuado por despecho al enterarse de una presunta relación sentimental que la fiscal habría sostenido con un colega.
También se dice que la víctima habría obtenido un préstamo de 50 mil soles, dinero que habría entregado a Valdez Guerra.
El fiscal y su ex esposo
Ayer por la tarde, mientras los restos de la magistrada eran sepultados en el cementerio municipal de Imperial, el fiscal adjunto Walter Emilio Ochoa López, a quien también se vinculó sentimentalmente con la víctima, rindió su manifestación en la sede de la División de Investigación Criminal.
En un inicio, las sospechas también recayeron sobre Gian Marco Huaroto Munaico, ex esposo y padre de la niña de siete años que Victoria Jesús deja en la orfandad.
Sin embargo, con el transcurrir de las horas se habría descartado la participación de estos dos últimos en el asesinato.
Asesino habría actuado solo
Lo que las autoridades están tratando de reconstruir son las horas finales de la víctima, antes de su desaparición.
Voceros de la policía dijeron que es muy posible que la persona que golpeó, estranguló y mató a la fiscal actuó sola.
Al respecto, la misma fuente dijo que una huella de zapatilla hallada en la escena del crimen correspondería con la numeración de un pie de varón, aunque peritos trabajaban para establecerlo.
