Edith González fallece tras larga lucha contra el cáncer

La actriz mexicana Edith González, reconocida por su trabajo en telenovelas como Salomé, Nunca te olvidaré, entre otras, falleció este jueves, informó la agencia estatal Notimex y las televisoras para las que trabajó González, Televisa y TV Azteca.

González tenía 54 años y murió tras una lucha contra el cáncer que le fue detectado en 2016.

Ese año, la actriz publicó en su cuenta de Instagram: “Fui intervenida por que padecía unos fuertes dolores en la base abdominal y efectivamente encontraron tejidos cancerosos que fueron removidos en su totalidad”.

CNN intentó comunicarse con su publicista y su agencia de representación para conocer más detalles pero no ha obtenido respuesta.

En las redes sociales, políticos, colegas y fanáticos enviaron sus condolencias a la familia.
