El caso sospechoso de un paciente con coronavirus procedente de la provincia de Barranca, que causó preocupación entre la población y autoridades de salud, quedó como caso descartado.

La información fue confirmada por el Instituto Nacional de Salud del Minsa, entidad autorizada para el procesamiento de las muestras y entrega de resultados a nivel nacional.

Es así que la prueba al paciente de iniciales R.J.S.P de 30 años de edad salió negativa, por lo que hasta el momento a nivel de la región Lima no se presenta ningún caso de Covid-19.Ante ello, el Gobierno Regional de Lima insta a la ciudadanía a mantener la calma y no generar falsas alarmas; por el contrario, fortalecer las prácticas de higiene y salubridad en aras de prevenir esta enfermedad infecciosa.

Mientras tanto, la actual gestión regional viene tomando acciones inmediatas a fin de reforzar las medidas de prevención, control, vigilancia y respuesta sanitaria. No olvidemos, que el lavado de manos y la alimentación saludable nos protegerán de cualquier enfermedad.
