Los cientos de niños y padres de familia de la institución educativa N° 647, integrado al colegio N° 21003 del sector de San Isidro, en el distrito de Végueta, agradecieron al presidente del Gobierno Regional de Lima, Ing. Nelson Chui Mejía, por la construcción de una losa para la práctica de fulbito, básquetbol y vóleybol.
“Nuestros niños tenían que caminar cientos de metros hacia una pampa donde podían practicar deporte en sus horas de Educación Física. Eso no sucederá más, porque el presidente Nelson Chui ha cumplido con entregarnos esta moderna losa”, expresó el director del plantel, Lic. Gilber Almendra Gavidia.
El Gobierno Regional de Lima invirtió más de 45 mil 500 nuevos soles en esta obra que beneficia a los cerca 300 escolares que estudian en el colegio veguetano.
La dimensión del campo deportivo es de 30 metros de largo por 16 metros de ancho, la cual también servirá para otras actividades que se realicen en la institución educativa.
La alcaldesa escolar Betzabé Vargas Pablo también tuvo palabras para agradecer a la autoridad regional. “Es una obra que para nosotros vale mucho, porque permite complementar nuestro aprendizaje y nos da mayor seguridad. El director, los padres y todos los estudiantes le agradecemos mucho”, dijo luego de apadrinar la entrega de la losa junto a la máxima autoridad en la región Lima.
El presidente regional Nelson Chui Mejía señaló: “Hemos cumplido con ustedes, porque necesitaban de un lugar para que sus hijos practiquen el deporte. No era justo que tuvieran que caminar tanto para encontrar un lugar dónde hacerlo. Ahora les pido que cuiden su infraestructura para el uso de nuevas generaciones”, remarcó.
Finalmente, Chui Mejía se comprometió a construir un cerco entre las aulas y la losa para evitar posibles accidentes, debido a la altura que tienen las veredas en esa escuela pública.
