Adex exige que Indecopi publique la lista de empresas que adulteran el pisco

l presidente del Comité de Pisco de la Asociación de Exportadores (Adex), William Urbina, dijo que el Indecopi ya tiene la lista con los nombres de las empresas a las que le han retirado la Denominación de Origen Pisco, pero que no se han hecho públicas.

Así lo indicó, tras las declaraciones del ministro de la Producción, Raúl Pérez Reyes, sobre imponer “sanciones drásticas” a lasempresas que no cumplen con los requisitos establecidos en la Denominación de Origen Pisco e incluso retirar este derecho por las faltas .

William Urbina dijo que hace poco se reunieron con los representantes de la Sociedad Nacional de Industria, Ministerio de la Producción, Ministerio de Comercio Exterior, Relaciones Exteriores e Indecopi, en la que se pidió hacer pública la lista de empresas que adulteran los productos.

“Indecopi dijo que no lo haría público porque eso afectaría la imagen del pisco y que solo darían a quien lo solicite de manera explícita” , comentó.

El representante de Adex anotó que el Indecopi no debería defender a los productores, sino a los consumidores y por ello, deberían dar a conocer la lista de quienes están afectando a los consumidores y dañando la imagen del pisco.

Comentó que, algunos productores valiéndose de varias autorizaciones que han tenido para denominarse pisco siguen comercializando, sin que el consumidor lo conozca con claridad.

Cabe indicar que Indecopi mencionó que hay más de 50 denuncias en trámite, por adulteración del producto, luego de inspecciones realizadas a finales del 2017. En estos proceso aun no se conocen los detalles.
